The Bowhunters Jamboree is the Bulkley Valley Bowmen's annual spring 3D shoot — two rounds of 50 3D targets on the range trails behind the Fall Fair grounds, with free on-site camping, fun shoots, and door prizes.
The map library may be unavailable on this connection. The range sits behind the Bulkley Valley Exhibition Grounds along the Bulkley River in Smithers, BC.

Target markers
Numbered markers for the 50 spring-shoot targets. Current course data: placeholders — stand at each target and tap “Set target”.
Course route
Walk the shoot route to record a GPS track that overlays the map for everyone.
Stand at the target site and tap “Set target” to place the next unplaced target at your GPS location, or tap “Set target remotely” to drop it at a tapped map spot. Drag a placed marker to nudge it. “Download config JSON” bakes your placements into the app for the next deploy.
Range etiquette
When shooting on the archery trails, there is not walking back on the trail for safety reasons. Please follow the posted arrows for the direction on and off the course.
Establish a shooting line so no one is ahead of other shooters. Shoot your arrows only down field at targets;
Wait until all shooters are done. Call 'CLEAR', make sure it is clear and proceed to retrieve arrows;
Leave your bow in front of a target when hunting for arrows so people know that you are there;
If you have found your arrows and someone is looking, help them out;
As a courtesy, do not spend a great deal of time looking for arrows when there is a group waiting to shoot. Remember the spot and look at the end of shooting;
Shoot-day notes
Course-specific briefings (shooting order, group sizes, target distances) are given by the shoot organizer on the day. When in doubt, ask — the Bowmen are a welcoming crew.

- Top row: Home, Shoot, Rules, History. Second row: Scorecard, Map, Results. Third row: Administration.
- Once loaded, every page works offline — except the live satellite map tiles and submitting scores, which need a connection.

- The stacked-squares button (top right) switches between Satellite and the saved Course photo — the photo works with no signal.
- Tap the blue crosshair button to show your live GPS location while walking the course.
- Show whole course zooms out to the full trail network. Directions to the archery grounds opens driving directions.

Register
- Register everyone scoring on this device first — up to 6 archers. Tap + Add archer for each one.
- Tap an archer's chip to edit them; the × on a chip removes that archer (it asks first).
- Fill in name, category, age group, and gender. For All Round, also pick each round's equipment (Traditional / Compound).
- The form stays open until every field is filled, or tap Finish to close it early. Edit reopens it.
- Tap Go to scorecard → when everyone is entered.
- Load sample archers fills the roster with clearly-labelled demo archers across the categories — handy for showing the scoring rotation and the results views. Remove them before the real shoot; submitting a scorecard syncs them to the shared board like real archers.
Scorecard
- The scorecard opens only after at least one archer is registered. Pick the round at the top: Round 1 or Round 2.
- The Archer dropdown always shows whose turn it is — scoring moves through the group automatically, target by target. Choose a name yourself to jump in out of turn.
- Tap the score for each arrow: X, 10, 8, 5, or Miss. Use ← Prev / Next → or the jump grid to move between targets; Clear wipes the current arrow.
- Totals update live as you score.
- Save on this device keeps the card on your phone. Submit to results sends it to the shared leaderboard — submitting again replaces the earlier card. Share sends a text summary.
- Edit participants jumps back to registration (for late arrivals or corrections). The scoring setup (point values, age groups) is organizer-adjusted.
Score sheet
- The full 50-target sheet, archer by archer — handy for checking scores or reading them aloud at the prize table.
Results
- Pick a group: Cubs, Junior, Adult Men, or Adult Women.
- Pick a category to see its standings.
- On a standings page, switch between Combined, Round 1, and Round 2. All Round combines both rounds into one total.
Administration — organizer guide
These tools run the shoot. Sign in with the organizer PIN, and sign out when done — especially on a shared device.
- Participants is the competition database. Entries arrive automatically from submitted scorecards, and paper scorers can be added by hand (name, category, and age group are required). Search by name; removing takes two taps.
- Scorecard check compares the entry list against submitted scorecards — chase down anyone listed under Missing scorecards before prizes.
- Target setup jumps to the map's organizer tools. The Set target button shows the number it will place next — stand at each target and tap it (uses your GPS), or Set target N remotely to drop one at a tapped map spot. A beep and a banner confirm each placement and the map pans to the new pin. Name each target's type, drag a pin to nudge it, and use Undo last or Clear all as needed. Download config JSON saves the layout for the next app update. Course route records a GPS track as you walk the shoot line — Save route overlays it on everyone's map, Download GPX exports the standard track file.
- Change PIN rotates the organizer PIN if it ever needs to change.
